Any way to keep the audio playing whilst checking other apps (whatsapp etc)

Tunein manages to keep playing when I use other apps, but ustream app or web based stops as soon as I go to anything else?

Thanks for any help

The instructions on the box said 'Requires Windows 7 or better'. So I installed LINUX
