    Travelex online
    Marks and Spencer
    Post Office

    (in that order)

Also if you live in London Thomas Exchange Global near Victoria station beats them hands down (there is a website for them, but can't remember the address).

Just got back from Majorca and checked my Nationwide Flexaccount.
On the 17th May the rate I got for 110e was 1.464 Euros to the £

    ok,
a bit of a strange suggestion but I have just come back from Spain with a decent lot of euros and decided that i would email my department at work and see if anyone would be interested in buying them off me at the current rate set by xe.com.
Sure enough I got a taker and I didn’t feel like I had been done by the exchange rate.
May be worth considering this for the future. Of course this is only relevant if you work in an office with people who are friendly!

Regarding Travelex, does anyone have any idea what the minimum time is between purchasing currency on-line (hopefully with my newly applied for Nationwide FlexAccount card) and being able to ensure the currency/whatever will be waiting at the airport for collection? How fast a service is this?

I believe it's before 4pm the day before you want to pick it up.

    Please Note:
Currency must be ordered between 60 days and 24 hours in advance of the collection

Do a dummy run before and after 4pm today to check.
