Purchase Protection on Post office Credit card?

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Post Office Credit card offers purchase protection?

Where if you purchase something on the credit card and it is stolen in the first 90 days you are can claim for your money back? If it does, does this offer outside of the UK too?

Difficult to say for sure - it certainly appears that they used to offer this as a free benefit but I can't find any reference to it for new applications on their website, which seems odd as it's potentially a useful feature.

https://www.pofssavecredit.co.uk/POFS-NIS/externalContent/creditcards/about_our_insurances.pdf suggests it's included as a free benefit, as does clause 20 of their main card Ts & Cs at https://www.pofssavecredit.co.uk/POFS-NIS/externalContent/creditcards/Credit_Cards_TandCs_HL_Content.pdf.

If there's nothing one way or the other in the actual Ts & Cs and any other documentation you were issued for your own card, then I'd suggest calling the claim number in the first linked document above and see where you get to, although note that losses outside the UK are specifically excluded....
