PCN TNC Legal Services

Hi.
I have received a PCN in relation to a handful of notices that would have been accumulated 2014-16 (car now sold) for parking on private grounds.
I was perhaps one of the naive ones in Scotland who didn't worry much about these notices but the letter received from TCN quotes the Carly Mackie case in Dundee and advises P4 Parking will commence court proceedings if no payment within 14 days.
I am a bit overwhelmed as to what to do. I have not kept any of the notices and probably wouldn't have much of a valid excuse to argue against them.
What to I do here? Do I ignore and hope for the best or do I fear the worst and take legal advice? My finances are bad enough as it is I would without question have to go down insolvency route or whatever you would call it if this comes to anything - please advise.

In Scotland you ignore unless you receive court papers
there is no POFA2012 in Scotland so only the driver can be held accountable , therefore if you as keeper havent revealed the drivers details then how can they take an unknown person or the wrong person to court ?
if they do , you defend it on various legal grounds , including that the PPC has to prove who the driver was so if they can do so then they may well have a case
ability to pay is irrelevant in court case
selling the vehicle is also irrelevant0 -
Thanks.
Is it something that is happening more now in Scotland court proceedings? Dyou think it is likely?0 -
The debt collecting scumbags and bloated PPC bottom feeding lowlife muppets are using the Carly Mackie case as a threat to resurrect what would otherwise have been forgotten claims.
This shows what scamming chancers they are, and some of their victims will fall by the wayside and pay up unfortunately!
But she was a serial offender that let the cat out of the bag by disclosing that she was the driver don't forget.0 -
Thanks fisherjim that's quite reassuring.
So continue to ignore is the advice for the time being?0 -
for Scotland it always is IGNORE , PROVIDING they do not know the drivers identity0

Thanks.

no, and no.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
