Cancelled car insurance

Would really appreciate some help on this. The manager who I've spoke with has said 'Please be advised I cannot send you a letter with the agreement we had because your policy is cancelled completely'.
So basically I feel that they've allowed me to take out a new car insurance policy with them but if I ever do need to make a claim they'll just say I didn't disclose I'd previously had a car insurance policy cancelled, despite the fact they explained the situation to their sales team (and advised I would not have to declare having a policy cancelled) before I was passed through and took out a new policy.0 -
Your avenue is a complaint in line with their complaints procedure.
If you are unhappywith the reply or they ignore you for 8 weeks you can escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you0 -
Okay I'll do that. Cheers. Really wish I'd have been able to record the calls between us myself now because I feel as if they're just able to lose whatever calls aren't convenient for them.0
