Hi all,
My parents are setting up a very small b&b and they were asking me about Sumup, Izettle, and PayPal, but they're concerned that these don't give paper receipts, is this correct?
Does Sagepay give receipts?
I was also thinking of things like ApplPay and the Android equivalent, but where they live they have VERY slow and intermittent WiFi, so might this cause problems with any of the above?
Also, if anyone has any experience of the setting up and using of said systems I'd be grateful for any feedback, good or bad!
Thank you :-)

If they use Paypal then you open a Paypal business account and you can configure Paypal to give the buyers a receipt and include a custom message and your own business logo. It would be an electronic one the customers would have to print off though.
If you're wanting to give them the ability to accept credit cards and internet is crap then they need to be looking at a phone line based system from a proper merchant account supplier. There are several and offer various options for charging. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I used to use Elavon for point of sale on a market stall. They offer proper card machines in conjunction with a transaction processing banking service.0
