used car purchase tax query
I just bought (well placed a deposit) on a used car from Lookers today.
On Dealers website it says the car tax is B, £20 pa (which is what similar models show).
But on the dealers screen today it says zero tax (he also gave me a print off). I just check the DVLA website and it says B 103 gm/km, so obviously it is £20.
Is possible to get the dealer to provide further discount or is this possibly a genuine error by dealer?

It is not unknown for the DVLA web site to disagree with the V50

If the main reason that you bought that car was the dealer told you that it was zero tax, then the deal is off, and you can get your money back.
So I suppose the dealer might give you £20 off rather than have to do the paperwork.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

How silly, get over it and consider yourself lucky you only pay pocket change for our car! It was advertised as such so move on.
