Was it in store or online ?

Wht is the fault, has it happened via being too rough with it ?

It was purchased online through GAME ( not marketplace) headset sound cuts out, it could possibly be misuse but I'm not sure? Thanks

The lack of packaging should not be an issue if you are returning the item because it is inherently faulty, i.e. the fault is due to it having been defective in some way when it was bought e.g. it was insufficiently durable. If however the fault is due to misuse then you have no right to a remedy.

Packaging shouldn't be an issue, as long as you package it up sufficiently if GAME require it to be returned.

Inform GAME of the issue and see what they say.

Packaging doesn't matter for faulty goods so that's not a problem. The problem is whether or not they have been handled properly or not. Broken wires on headsets are common by the way they tend to be thrown around, especially when the game doesn't go your way and to throw them off in a rage.

This is all to common now and one of my family do it regularly, he goes through headsets at the same rate as his trainers.
