The colour I always got (Chocolate) had been dropped from the range so I settled on Mocha instead. I quite like the colour so will stick with it until they drop that too!
Poor little Ronnie had the indignity of having his nether regions washed this morning; he came back from his walk with a bit of a grotty botty, and as he's long-haired... well, you get the gist. :eek: Anyways, he was ever so good about having it done - I think the knew he'd be clean and comfortable afterwards.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW, our miniature poodle used to have that problem occasionally, she wasn't that keen on having a shower jetted up her nethers.
I'm not in the best of moods, partly as a result of feeling grotty but mostly because of the world situation.
We've been up to Booths in Settle and spent far too much as usual but have a lovely piece of fish for dinner. DH wants to go to B&Q which means going to Nelson, I might let him go alone.0 -
Talking about dog's nether regions, Bonnie's,is resembling a towel holder at the mo.Think she's about to have her first season :rotfl:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I always spend way too much in Booths! It's easily done as they sell such lovely food. When we are at the caravan I go in the Ripon branch but when at home it's the Ilkley branch that's nearest. I've decided it's time to stop today!
I've deadheaded what seems like hundreds of daffodils, in my garden, outside my front door and along about 15 metres of hedgerow. They all look pathetic now. I've also planted out three plants and filled the squirrel feeder, it's far too cold to stay out there any longer so I came indoors.
I've been fiddling with iTunes and my own playlists for a while just to get them in order. And I've converted one of my DF's old cassette tapes to mp3 which I'm rather chuffed about. He loved this tape, Duncan Macrae doing old Scottish poems (the word is being stretched) and songs such as 'Three Craws', 'The Wee C ock Sparra' and 'The Wee Cooper o' Fife'. There's about four or five more tapes to convert, seems to be historical recordings of D-Day dispatches and so on, I'm really pleased the gadget I bought from Azon worked so well.
Grotty doggy bots :eek::eek:
Dr Who night! :j I'll get pulling the sofa forward so I can hide behind it no doubt. Wine will be waiting. Snacks will be available. Phones will be switched to silent and all other communications ignored!0 -
Afternoon all
Well the weather is quite pleasant here as long as you stay in the sun ! I managed to dry all the washing yesterday even though it was a bit grey in the afternoon.
This morning was spent in the room of doom ( well the office/ dumping ground ) and sorted out a lot of paperwork which now needs shredding. However the bottom dropped out of one of my drawers ( oh behave ! ) so DH is now in the shed fixing it.
I made the mistake of mentioning the legs of lamb in my freezer and my DD sometimes reads my post so has invited herself and the DGC to lunch tomorrow as lamb is her favourite and along with my Dad, that's six in all. DSiL is quite happy to stay at home as he can watch all the sport he wants without interruption :rotfl:.
I have made some dairy free banana and sultana muffins for tomorrow, actually made two lots, as I forgot the egg in the first batch, but both batches taste ok. ( well I had to try them just in case). I am also going to try to make some Yorkshire puddings made with dairy free milk, having a dry run so to speak.
Tea tonight will be spag bol so I'd better get on and make the sauce.
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.
Coxy may I ask what you cook in your raclette ? DD bought DH one a while ago and we have never used it. Thanks.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
