Last summer we had booked a park and ride to the airport. On the way we turned to what we thought was the park and ride company. After having gone up to the barrier and pressed the button we were informed that it was not them. We then reversed, (as you could not turn at that point) and asked a stranger for directions, we then left straight away. Since then I have received numerous letters from Vehicle control services and DRP stating that I was parked in an area with signs for no parking etc and issued a PCN - I have written numerous times to them asking them to look at their footage where they would clearly see that we just went to the wrong address.
However, they are continuing with their letters etc - I am incensed that we are being fined for taking a wrong turn (at the time we did not think it was a wrong turn) and being charged for it. I am still writing to them informing them of the situation but to no avail - has anyone else had this??

No you aren't. Replying is pointless at boring old debt letter stage, if you've already stated this, stop engaging with them and save your breath for a court defence - we always beat BW Legal claims. Loads of examples here of Excel and VCS trying doomed claims, well defended and won by people here.

Tell us what questions you still have after reading posts #2 and #4 of 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' which covers court defence stage (for you for the future) and 'ignore the debt collectors' stage.

Also search for 'BW Legal defence VCS' and read a few other threads that have been there, done that and won.

Same as what? Don't understand your question, or in what context.

There are hundreds of LJLA threads on here and PePiPoo. Read them, they all advise exactly the same - ignore anything other than court papers, which so far have never arrived for anyone.

VCS have never chanced their arm with a court claim at an airport as to lose an airport case would have a serious negative affect on the airport goose that lays them so many golden eggs - motorists who think they've done something wrong and meekly pay up to 'stay out of trouble'.

Don't be one of them!
