Car mats that don't move about?
Comments
-
Ideally you want the mats with velcro strap backing on them to hold them down0
-
Have a look on eBay.
You should be able to get mats which are compatible with the vehicles fittings.0 -
Genuine mats should be available for not a lot of money, they attach to the cars own fixings and don't slide around.
Velcro mats is an idiots solution, buying mats that tear up the existing carpets??? Seriously? What's the actual point?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

If you buy a roll of velcro you could put enough on that it won't move at all so no risk to carpets assuming the car has them and not say a hard plastic floor
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Seriously, I don't even know why we're debating this.......
If you can buy some nasty car mats AND enough velcro to hold them down, for less than a genuine set of mats, you go ahead.

The genuine Qashqai mats are a hard plastic and have a press stud arrangement to prevent them moving. Had them on my Qash and were excellent. The ones in the ebay ad look like they also have the press stud fittings too.
If I were buying again, I would go original equipment.Started my job at the bottom and liked it0 -
Thanks for all the information guys, the eBay ones look fine for my needs.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

Another vote for OEM mats.
Perfect fit and a proper retention system.
Don't know why more folks dont stick with them.0 -

Because cheap mats, velcro, zipties and duct tape exist...... Available from your nearest "Bodge it and leg it and co".“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
