I'd recommend Indorex spray too, it worked when I had a local cat keep coming in and leaving it's fleas behind.

If you're unsure if there are fleas in the house, leave a small lamp on overnight, and surround it with white saucers or pasta bowls with water and a little bit of washing up liquid. The light attracts them, the washing up liquid means theres no surface tension, so they jump towards the light, land in the water and drown. In the morning you can see if there are any. I was surprised how many it had drowned, but it gives a good idea as to if there are any left!
