Is this a bit Postman Pat or kinda cool?

Hi

I cannot make up my mind, is this car cool or is it a bit Postman Pat? (you'll see what I mean)

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_large_image_popup.jsp?id=200737294636102&channel=CARS&adcategory=CARS&largeId=599542470

want to change my car, I do like to be a little different. Also, at some point I would be carrying a website address on the back, so I guess it would get noticed.

Anyone, know of the bB? and what it is like?

Cheers

  • Toyota Scion? Cool car, saw loads of them in america a while back, none of them standard all of them looked really nice. Parts may be a problem especially bodywork although i'd reckon it's a yaris or corolla underneath?
  • It's sold as a Scion XB in the us (a brand of Toyota) and the new version is marketed by Daihatsu (partly owned by Toyota) here in the UK as Materia.

It's far cooler than the standard euro boxes in my eyes.:D

Cheers for the replies, it does have the Yaris engine in it, so I reckon parts would not be too much of a problem. Bodywork could be a problem in the unlucky event of having a scrape, but that is something I am prepared to risk. Yeah it is the same car as the Toyota Scion.

Two replies that are positive, I was expecting responses taking the mick out of it, so your replies are encouraging

Well I reckon it's butt ugly and IMO postman pat wouldn't be seen dead in it :o

    Each to their own though!
  • Not my cup of tea at all I think it looks terrible, far too boxy and boring.

    I'd rather have a 66 Corvette. :j

I'd rather have an Ultima GTR, but I can't afford one... but, with this car it is the boxiness and low profile that makes this a cool car...
  • I like it.
    Happy chappy

Lord knows how it runs but I like the look of it. Nothing wrong with being different!

  • Sorry! but to me it looks like a nightmare combination of a cheap car, a 19 year old with too much spare time, and couple of buckets of fibreglass.

Perhaps for the Postman pat from the dark side of the force?

Very mixed opinions then. It is not a cheap car though, it has Toyota build quality and mechanicals, so should be pretty much bullet-proof. It seems like it is a love it or hate it sort of car
