I need to write to DWP in connection with ESA claim. Last address I have is Belfast.......but I believe this has changed? Does anyone have an up todate one or a FAX no. for them?
Gave up with telephone contact you can never get thru.

Most things for ESA have to go to Wolverhampton. If you can get to your local Job Centre they should be able to either provide the address or a pre-paid envelope.0

For ESA the DWP have now started to use a system of Freepost addresses. See the last entry on this Freedom Of Information request
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/single_line_freepost_addresses_f
(direct downloads are https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/371099/response/919349/attach/3/Reply%20Letter%204333.pdf or to view as a webpage https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/371099/response/919349/attach/html/3/Reply%20Letter%204333.pdf.html)
You need to know where your local DWP ESA processing site is located. Assuming you live in Northern ireland the address you would write on the envelope is simply "Freepost DWP ESA 3". For, say, Wrexham ESA it would be "Freepost DWP ESA37". The envelope does not require a stamp.
One drawback is because these are not proper postal addresses but rather are Freepost addresses I have read that the Post Office are unable to issue any type of proof of posting as their system does not recognise them.0
