Credit Card Repayments with BT\Purchases

I just had an offer come through from MBNA for a interest free balance transfer.

If I use this card to do a large balance transfer, but also use it for purchases (which would incur interest if not paid), when I make part repayments will it repay the balance transfer first, and leave the purchase balance on there which would charge interest, or will it pay off the purchase balance first leaving the interest free balance transfer on the card?

Have you read your T&Cs para. 4 ?

The payment will be allocated against the part that has the highest interest (i.e. the purchases) including items that have not appeared on a statement. You will incur interest on the purchases from the date of purchase until paid off.
