Help! - MSE - Energy Club Additional Account?

I am sure this has been covered previously, but can't find on here so...., I have an account with the MSE Energy Club, but want to use it also for my aged mother-in-law as she isn't comp-lit. When I try to enter my wife's email details as id to register her, the system recognizes my PC and populates my details. Can anyone offer any suggestions please. (my M-i-L's current energy deal has just ended, so need to get her signed up with another supplier, rather than pay variable rate.
Cheers and thank you up-front for any helpful advice.

  • Hi Roger-Jolly,

I'm afraid that at the moment you can only have the details of one property saved in a Cheap Energy Club account.

If you wanted to compare energy for your mother-in-law's property, the best thing to do would be to create a new Cheap Energy Club account for her using a different email address.

    Hope this helps,
    MSE Laura
  • Hi Laura,

    Thank you for the info.
That was what I tried to do, using my PC, but my wife's email address/account, but the system obviously recognizes my PC and populates my details, so I am not able to register a new account on my PC.

If your brower autofills the fields, then it sounds like you have "Remember logins for sites" enabled in the browser

    Disable
(although I would have thought you could simply overwrite whatever it automatically inserts anyway)

Nothing autofills on my computer when I visit the CEC site, either for login or to register a new account.
(Obviously, once logged into my account, my usage details etc are then displayed)
