please see last post re original question, but thank you as my sols have not brought this to my attention previously. Fortunately EVERYTHING they have been told is exactly as it happened.

It is always good to be aware of the worst case scenario.

A single judge will be deciding on the day (if it gets that far) and what you may think comes across well and reasonable may not be the same as him/her.

I haven't been in the situation and I don't know who would help but you need to start by helping yourself. Some of your problems could be avoided - as I said, sell your assets to avoid debt collectors.

Thanks to both RS65 and Alchemist 1,

I have taken everything on board, and despite everything, do appreciate every comment, as this helps pre-empt the other sides arguments.

I think just my frustration of the circumstances, as had just rebuilt my life when the incident happened after losing everything 10 years before, hence reluctance to sell anything.

You have been very helpful.
