    It is not beyond the realms of technical possibility these days for banks to note you are an active user of either their online banking and/or app and deliver your PIN to you this way. You could even type in the last four digits of your new card as extra security if you're really panicky about security. Then there's no chance of your PIN going awol.

    I really do not understand the purpose of this thread.

    Looks like some people like to make an issue out of something that isn't.

    Having it delivered to the branch (if they offered it) would still be sent via Royal Mail.

    Would you not have had three attempts at the PIN before it being retained, what difference does it make how it is stopped the main thing is the card is stopped and cannot be used.

    Seriously get a grip.

    Firstly when orderig the new card in branch she was told she had to report it as lost as they did not have a box on screen to tick saying card retained, so not a strictly accurate record of what happened

    On this point, I have to say .... GET A LIFE.

    On the other point, Natiowide are liable for any fraud losses so chill out.
