To be fair, the guy really was belligerent with the staff. That still doesn't justify the airlines actions.
Honestly though, I'll try never to fly with them again. Every time I do, the staff is rude, and has an attitude of "Ok, what do you need now?" like you're inconveniencing them.0 -
The only time the belligerent word was used was by the CEO in an attempt to deny they had done anything wrong. Three days later when the evidence showed otherwise he had to apologise and no doubt the airline will have to pay millions to settle the claim. If by saying, 'I am sitting in the seat you issued the boarding card for in my own name and I need to work tomorrow' you end up being dragged down the aisle like a sack of potatoes is acceptable by anyone's standards, then enjoy your flight with United, the friendly skies.....0

That was my understanding too.Alan_Bowen wrote: »The only time the belligerent word was used was by the CEO in an attempt to deny they had done anything wrong. Which is why I queried DBlenks90's statement.

Are you referring to Dr Dao being belligerent and if so, what have you based that statement on?0 -
I flew last summer with UA, Gatwick-Houston-Orlando and back via Newark. Found them very good and attentive. Clearly made one hell of a mess with this passenger.0

It could be worse. You could be a rabbit due to fly with United.

I heard the animal was belligerently asked to leave and when refused was swiftly killed with a rabbit punch. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
