Yes, PO online accounts can be funded by debit card or direct debit.0

Do you not spend any of your income? The suggestion by Ben82 seems to make most sense, surely you have some bills you could use a DD for? That's kind of the idea with a bank account although they get fudged for interest payments most people have at least a couple of DDs.
