Will both drivers get points/fined?

Hi all,
first time poster, but usually just browse the site hehehe
I think I am in a spot of bother and wanted some opinions on what could happen.

I was on my way home down my usual residential neighbourhood and there was a sign for saying oncoming traffic has priority down a narrow road only about 3 car lengths long. 20mph road.

However, on this occasion I basically followed the car ahead of me and did not give way to one car coming the opposite way, and I think it was questionable how far away the driver was.

But I am sure the oncoming guy floored it to make it tight for me to get by on the other side, despite him having priority.

HOWEVER, he then proceeded to reverse back and turn his car around and follow me, and then box me in while I was trying to park my car, which then caused another road user to be blocked behind him, all while he is hurling abuse at me, this lasted for about 3-4 minutes.

I think he had a dash cam as I saw him reach up to his mirror to take a picture. I just stayed in my car and didn't react to him.

1) Can I get points for this? How likely is it that I will get points/fined for something soo minor.

2) If I do, and authorities get involved, can I get this guy back for harassment- following me down the road, blocking me, obstructing another car, cursing at me. TBH I was really nervous and did not even react to him and just stayed in my car. In such a panic I tried to drive with my handbrake on!

Surely he completely over reacted, isn't the sensible approach to just send off whatever picture/footage he got instead of tail me round the corner and box me in? Hopefully dash cams have sound.

Thanks all, nervously waiting...

    Just a "road rage" bod

He over reacted and so are you.

Police are far too busy to react.

Just remember, there are 1000's of nutters on the roads now and
he was just one of them

Forget it, maybe he was drunk or on drugs

The most he could do would be to report you (and you could report him) to any local Police campaign you might have to report dodgy driving. I reported some idiot to our local one once and I think if they get more than one report about the same vehicle some local forces might have a word with you, that's all.

No you can't get 3 points on some random loony's say so, based on his footage and he'd be stupid to draw it to the Police's attention. Relax.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
