Hello
I set up an amazon account back in November to sell a few unwanted household items to make some cash for Christmas. The items where unopened and sold well. Customers happy. However Amazon have still not transferred the amount I made. 130days+ later.
I have called, chatted and emailed several times every month and they keep saying they have someone looking into it.
It may not be a lot of money to them but is to me.
They owe me £1249.32 and fees have already been paid early December.
My account was then blocked mid December because i didnt register as a business. But why should I when I am not a business. Simply had a few items , un wanted presents that had not been took from their packaging and sold on amazon.
Now I am aware they hold funds for 90 days on blocked accounts so why have they not transferred the money yet.
I have tried everything and losing the will.

Don't you have to be a business to sell on Amazon? At very least a sole trader?0 -
No you can be a private seller as long as you are not buying items to sell on. I had a few items, I listed on November 26th, Sold all by 30th and have nothing else to sell. In fact they can close my account if they want.0

Sounds like you sold rather more items than the usual person with just a "few" unwanted items.
Regardless, something has made them suspicious if they subsequently blocked your account.
Nothing anyone here can advise I'm afraid. Get in touch with Amazon (again).0 -
So you just so happened to have nearly 1300 quids worth of brand new goods lying about? You can see why they would be suspicious can you not.0
