Lead design for windows - any reference website?

My house is just over 100 years old. There is a window above the font and back doors that I want to get double glazed incorporating a colour leaded design to go with the property. A neighbour has something similar, with the house name in lead (which I don't want).
Does anyone know of a website showing ideas and the like?

You can sometimes get this sort of thing on ebay.
I know that there are companies around that do it- maybe if you google stained glass manufacture/repair you would get some ideas?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
I did just this and came up with a firm in Glasgow called www.authenticstainedglass.co.uk and they have some beautiful pictures on their site.
In fact I may go to then when I get mine done if they will deliver this far away!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Some double glazing firms do this anyway. We had an extension built and picked design and colour of stained glass units from a brochure to go into the the small opening windows above the main ones.
Try asking some of your local companies, they may be able to do this for you.
You can also do it yourself with a plain double glazed unit, stick on lead strips, and special "stained glass effect" paint. It takes a bit of practice but the lead is very flexible and you can make just about any pattern you want. I got the lead frome Homebase and the paint from a craft shop. You might even find someone via a craft supplier that could do this for you to your own design.
