Right now - it looks to me as if you are feeling distinctly scared/wary that these people are going to try and steal your (communal) property.
I have been there in that situation (ie in current house) of someone trying to steal a bit of my land.
So I do know where you are at and just how upset/nervous one can get about standing up for yourself and refusing to let the attempted theft happen. Oh boy:mad::eek::(:(:(
But "sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me" and I've had "words" flung at my head about this only recently. But "words" are just that = only words and can't actually affect anything.
If it's yours its yours and stand up for yourself. I honestly rate your odds as extremely good that nothing will be "tried on" in the first place and, if it does, then it is something that should be quickly/easily resolved in the second place.
I honestly don't think you will have any trouble from these characters in that respect and, if you do, it will be quickly/very cheaply resolved with, at most, a "shouting match" about it.0
