Letter from ZZPS

Good evening all,

I need your help please. I got a pcn in November 2016 as although I had a valid ticket in my car it had blown over on the dashboard. I emailed the company who issued it (elite management) to appeal it and sent proof of the ticket which showed I had paid the right amount and car registration vehicle on it. I thought this would be enough but they rejected my appeal much to my surprise ( I am new to this as never had a PCN before this one ). With one thing and another I completely forgot about it but last week recieved a lenter from this ZZPS company demanding £172 :O . I am now at a loss as to what is best to do from here? As it's at this point do I now have to pay the amount they are demanding . Thanks in advance :)

Are you at a loss because you haven't read the 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' sticky advice thread? The one at the top in capital letters when you hit 'new thread' instead of reading that thread first, which is the intention. To stop too many threads all the same about debt collectors - please spare us...
As it's at this point do I now have to pay the amount they are demanding .

Stop taking the letters so seriously. Debt collector stage (ignoring them) is more then covered every day, every week, every thread. Read what's here already...please...!

  • Apologies that I was a little confused and asked for help. I found your response a little harsh if I am honest. I understand that this thread clearly irritated you but still I don't think your response should have been so direct as I said I'm new to this

We have a sticky thread to stop threads like this because we can't keep up and we do this free in our own time. The intention is not to be harsh but partly to stop people doing this again and again... we just can't do this piecemeal.

Everyone who comes here for advice is new to it, everyone feels like you do, but most thankfully read the NEWBIES thread first or we would drown in queries, which would help no-one.

Please read the thread that gives you the answer you need. :)

If you think CM who is probably the most prolific and helpful poster on this free help forum is "direct" and "irritated", goodness knows what you are going to feel like with the barrage of abuse you will get from the real nasty guys who unlike CM will not finish their communication with "please"!

As a new poster, you confirmed that you had read and understood the FIG as part of your signup - You simply would not be able to post here otherwise.

This explains the basic layout and operation of the boards plus other things like the importance of Stickies, where to find them and why you should always read them first, before posting in any forum!

So it should have been pretty fresh in your memory.

And this isn't meant in any spirit of unpleasantness, there is a strong self-help/pull your own weight ethos on MSE, so it is simply so the most people can be helped to help themselves as easily as possible.
