PIP Mandatory Reconsideration

hi there sorry to be a bother again but could I ask for some more advice
I had submitted a request for reconsideration and further medical evidence from my own doctor following my disallowance of PIP. I had originally been told it would not take long so decided to ring today for an update and was told that my further medical evidence was returned to Capita for input. I was just wondering why if the decision maker is the one to review claim on evidence presented have they been involved again?
thanks

The decision maker hasn't got a clue when it comes to medical evidence hence why he/she has asked the assessing company for their opinion on what you have sent in.
The assessing company has two choices - to tell the decision maker that what you have supplied makes no difference to their report or to tell the decision maker that in light of the medical evidence you sent in the original report they completed is now so full of holes that it needs revising.0 -
OP
Please be aware that Rockingbilly has posted elsewhere that he was diagnosed with dementia and confusion three years ago. In other threads experienced and trusted posters have pointed out inaccuracies in his posts which could stem from his condition
Obviously, it's up to you if you take heed of what he writes - but, it would certainly be sensible to be aware of his diagnosis.0 -

Is that post really necessary? The information given is correct, that is unless you want to challenge it?0
