Hello,

I had this email in my email account and immediately thought it was fake, mainly as I am not expecting a delivery from DHL. I just want to know if others have received a similar email?

  • Sound Dodgy , with the hotmail address .
I would forward it to dhl and report it , or just delete it .
Just don't reply to it, if you're unsure :)

Many many others have received this or similar email many many times .

Theres no point in reporting it to DHL as there is nothing they can do about people pretending to be them.

Delete and ignore it, and give yourself a pat on the back for being vigilant :)

(If the email address shown is your own, it might be worth removing it from the post so its not harvested by more spam bots and you end up receiving more !!)

I still use Spamcop where I report the headers and the spammer, however, if you report as junk and then empty your junk folder it is probably as much as you can do.

You should NEVER click on the link in an email as it may be hiding one underneath, they often record that you were dumb enough to follow link.

    You could go to DHL

    http://www.dhl.co.uk/en.html

and key in the ref number into the tracking box on the legit site.

For some reason, other than the odd banking attempt the majority of my Spam seems to be from women wanting to do amazing things to me. From a conversions point of view it is an utter fail to send so many messages in such a short time.

Well I deleted the email, only to get the exact same email but with O2 instead of DHL and from the same sender. I just blocked the sender. I am used to spam, just this is the first time getting a more detailed attempt to scam me. Another reason for why I was unsure was because I had RM leave a 'Something for you' card, the tracking number on it works, but states the package is coming from Greece, which is funny because the package I am expecting is coming from Newcastle.

P.S You heard Sherri, stop looking at her photos.
