First time wearing glasses not convinced advice please
I went back yesterday but they wouldn't even entertain me said i would need to wear them for at least a week before they would consider another eye test or anything like that.
I am trying to persist with them but its hard to tell if they are helping me when using the computer or not. I can read the text with them on or off and can read the smallest text and see fine detail in anything with or without glasses its just i get really bad eyestrain from computer work. The one thing i do notice with them is that in my right eye I can see better when looking at distant objects with them off. Left eye there no real difference. I am going to persist with them for a week and see if it helps reduce the eye strain or not.
One time I got a pair from specsavers and I just knew it was wrogn and they put the glasses on a machine and admitted it was slightly out.
There should be no adjustment time for short sighted glasses. But unless whoeever server you wears them they probably just rabbit what they are taught.
I would suggest looking away from the screen at regular intervals, focussing on different distances and doing eye exercises, as looking at a screen you are not exercising all eye muscles.
