Mot advice - seatbelt

Hi guys i have a nissan with a MOT due next month, I just was doing some prechecks and my rear passenger seatbelts i thought were faulty. but the middle seat belt fits on the right holder and the right belt fits in the centre holder. Does anyone know if this is a FAIL

also the malfunction icon is showing i beleive its the fuel pump is this a fail too any advice will be appreciated thanks

    I had a Toyota that had the belts work this way. Had it for years and never failed an MOT on it.

    pull the seat up and they were just twisted underneath?


    does the middle fit both?

    As stated probably lift the seats and look.


    I would think its an MOT fail as in the event of an accident cross seatbelts could release each others catches as they come together.

    Fit a child seat and they wont test it. You will get an advisory for it though.

    Our Nissan is exactly the same, passed mot 2 years running.

    My current Toyota has this same arrangement which seemed a bit strange initially. Passed first M.O.T. last month.
    One of the clips, can't remember which, also requires the ignition key to release it and has "centre" embossed on it..
