    Its an older building - needs updating , i feel its good value for money , i just hope the surveyor feels the same...

    Our mortgage is with Halifax and the survey was done by Colleys.
    It was emailed to us and also posted.

    We purchased our house for £400,000 and in the valuation section it said "properties of similar style in this area usually sell for between £375,000 and £425,000"
    It didn't give an actual value for the house which I thought was a bit odd but hey ho
