I don't think you will have any problem, but as has been suggested for piece of mind discuss your concerns with the manufacturer.

Not really, depends how quickly the garage shift thier stock. Ive know ex-demos to be on a forecourt for a year before being sold.Dwy galon, un dyhead,

I have been looking recently to change my car to a 1 year old Nissan. In the service books it shows the main dealer stamp (same dealer selling the car) but has no print out/summary of the service.
I find this confusing, and cannot ascertain if the main dealer (part of Lookers) actually did a proper service?0 -
You will never know if any garage has done any servicing on a car. You have to do it yourself if you want anything done properly.0

The main dealer might tell you if someone has paid for a service but it doesn't mean that a service has been done.0

That's getting into conspiracy theory territory here.
It's safe enough to assume that if someone paid a main dealer for a service, that it's been serviced. Otherwise where do you stop?0 -
Sadly it's reality. Servicing standards in the UK are appalling.0

Yes, but you can do a few simple checks yourself. For example, you can always tell whether an oil change has been done by the look and feel of the oil on the dipstick.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
