Positive Balance On HSBC

If I did a balance transfer to a HSBC credit card and thereby gave it a positive balance, would they transfer the money to a current account or return it to the source? I have heard that MBNA and Capital One are good for this, but I can't find a thread saying if this is possible with a HSBC.

TIA

What's the size of the proposed fictitious BT? And the size of the resultant positive balance?

So the HSBC card would have a balance of 0, I would do a balance transfer of say £2000 from a different card, thus giving the HSBC card a positive balance of £2000. Something similar to this thread:

It's just I don't have any of the cards on the thread and was wondering if I could do it with the card I currently have.

    Thanks
