In the US the media prefer to hire people who have been to journalism school. They then produce newspapers that are dreadfully dull, and packed with fake news. Ditto the main TV news channels.

The British version is far superior, use journalists and politicians interchangeably, no wonder they are the two jobs held in most content by the public.
