    Presumably yet another instance of the OP not liking the reply so removing the question! I just think it's both rude and ignorant. People go to the effort of responding and that's all the thanks they get.

    It really annoys me also :)

    I am 47 and unable to work due to mental health issues, I applied over the phone for ESA and was told Id receive another form in the post to complete. If the man I spoke to thought I wasn't eligable for ESA at all would he have told me there and then or does everyone get a form to fill in even if theyre later found to be ineligible? Thank you in advance.

    To confuse issues further, littlewren was 55 in 2007, 61 some eight years later and 47 in 2017. That's some impressive anti aging going on!
