Care Parking disproportionate charge

Just wondering how much success people have with appealing on the grounds of disproportionate charges these days? I parked in a car park in St Helens, operated by Care Parking, it was virtually empty the whole time, overstayed by 28 mins and charged £60 (or £100 if i don't pay quickly). Is it worth appealing on those grounds? If not I'd rather pay the £60 than the £100!! Any advice welcome please...

No. Those grounds are not grounds.
    Is it worth appealing...?
    Yes.

We would rather you joined everyone else here and paid nothing. Stop thinking about sponsoring this 'cowboy' (MPs' words in Parliament, 2017) industry.

That's why there is a FAQs thread 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' (top of the forum) with a template appeal to help you all win and pay nowt, without starting 'what do I do/is it worth appealing?' threads that we can't keep up with and have no need to answer, because the sticky thread tells you how to win.

It is worth appealing, and this forum has a very high success rate, if you follow the advice. You first need to edit your post and get into the habit of only referring to The Driver and The Keeper. Nobody should ever say "I parked ..." on a forum where parking scammers are known to hide.

As C-m has already stated, you start by reading the Sticky thread for NEWBIES, then appeal using (copy and paste) the BPA template in blue.
