Neighbour keeps keying my car for 7 years now
Options
Hi,
I live in a cul-de-sac and my car is parked at opposite end in an allocated parking bay 60feet away. There is another neighbours van parked before my car obstructing the view.
Its been over 7 years now and every 2-3 weeks I get key marks on windows or lines down the bonnet and yesterday paint scrapes on passenger side below the door.
Police cant do anything without evidence and I can find a motion detection camera cctv camera that would work more the 5 days overnight.
I only use my car at the weekends as I take a train to work.
I know the neighbour who is doing this but have no proof.
What I do ?
I am loosing my mind and not sure what to do. There is no where to put a camera outside.
I want to put a letter in their door but this may cause more issues.

You could use a battery powered camera with night vision, like this>https://www.amazon.co.uk/super9shop-Motion-Activated-Camera-Battery-V900-Q2/dp/B00564TF4W
Or this> https://www.amazon.co.uk/T11-Activated-Detection-Recording-Camcorder/dp/B01N4LAQ87/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1491629670&sr=1-9&keywords=Motion-Activated+Camera+with+Night+Vision
You may need an external battery pack."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Just put a note in the car window saying "Dave, stop keying my car".0

Not much use if using it inside the car to record outside the car via PIR:-
Q&A, answer from seller:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/T11-Activated-Detection-Recording-Camcorder/dp/B01N4LAQ87/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1491629670&sr=1-9&keywords=Motion-Activated+Camera+with+Night+Vision
Question: will the PIR sensor work through a window? cheers!
Answer: Hi There,
Usually PIR will be sensitive with temperature to start work,so we do not recommend use it through a window.I hope that's helpful.
