Camping is always good, and cheap if you can borrow a tent.

Glamping seems to vary a lot in price, but if you shop around it isn't bad.

Travelodge can be pretty cheap too, and they aren't too bad. Ones in popular touristy places tend to be more expensive, but with some research you can often find good stuff to do, or even just have a slightly longer drive on days out.

Are you looking for something in the uk or abroad? Definitely glamping if your tent isn't up to scratch! I'm taking the family to a glamping festival in Wales at the beginning of June :)

    How about Warwick Castle?

    https://www.treatwell.co.uk/place/spa-naturel-at-mercure-brandon-hall-hotel-and-spa/?utm_source=affiliate-window&utm_medium=revenue-share&utm_campaign=47868&utm_content=0#osr=SPA_BREAK&offerId=829657&venueId=121

For £169 for 2 adults and 2 kids (not sure how many kids you have!):

Overnight stay in an executive room - Check in time 2pm, check out time 12pm
20% off any pre booked treatments
Two adults and two children (3-12 years) entrance tickets to Warwick Castle
    Dinner included
    Breakfast the following morning
Full use of the spa facilities which include:
    Swimming pool
    Gym
    Steam room
    Sauna
    Relaxation rooms

Seems to have lots of availability from now until the end of Summer.

We took up this offer last week, and had a lovely stay. Hadn't used Treatwell to book before, so managed to get an extra £10 off, making it excellent value. Managed to fit in a swim on the evening we arrived and before breakfast the following morning. Food was great (dinner and breakfast), and Warwick Castle was brilliant for my 11YO - especially jousting and birds of prey display.

Many thanks colcheslad - excellent recommendation.
