First National Bank

I have a PPI claim against First National Bank but it appears it has closed down. Who should be contacted in this instance

Contact whoever you sent it to and ask if it was rejected or what has happened. You only have 6 months after a rejection to refer to the FOS assuming they have jurisdiction

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • I have found old paperwork relating to First National Bank and have evidence of PPI and want to make an initial claim.
But the bank appears to have closed or been taken over and there is no address to contact it. So is there is an alternative contact for all PPI claims against First National? Thanks

    Think this is it.

Was this a loan from FN, or, did you purchase something that FN gave the finance for and what year was this?.

Looks to be on the right track.:)

First National Bank PLC has simply changed it's name to GE Money Home Finance Limited

If Anglian sold you the ppi policy that is who you complain to.
    Also 2003 is pre-regulation.
