PCN - Peel Centre

Hi All,
I received a PCN of £100 from Excel Parking at Peel Centre, Stockport dated 22/02/2017. I have read the Newbie section and intend to appeal.
However, i did not receive an initial Notice to Keeper which was apparently sent on 02/03/17. No drivers are from the area and the car park appears very dark at the time (which is evident on the online photograph where only the reg not the car is visible), so the driver was not aware that the car park required payment.
Should I state any of this on the appeal or just stick to the example provided?
Apologies if this has also been covered before and thank you for any assistance.
Regards,
Liam

You could certainly add more to the challenge but don't say who was driving (edit you post to remove that info NOW!).Should I state any of this on the appeal or just stick to the example provided?
You won't actually win on appeal and you are likely to need to defend in court. We win them on here - I just heard of another long-running one that was won v Excel today.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
