Nationwide Faster Payments are down at the moment and appear to have been down all morning, as none of my faster payments today have arrived.

Agreed
I made one several hours ago through the app to Santander. Not there yet. There is now a service message on the app which wasn't there when I made the payment.
These things happen.0 -
I tried to open an ISA at Nationwide and that threw a wobbler at the last click .I will take my money elsware.0

Worse still, when I sent £1,000 from my main account (in order to qualify for the 5% interest) I found later it had been returned as 'an error'.
I am seeking confirmation that, when it is returned to Nationwide, I'll still get interest on it.0 -
Come on Nationwide, nothing's moved all day :-(0

Perhaps a little shortsighted.
Presumably you researched similar products from different providers and decided that Nationwide offered the best deal.
Because of a small mishap you'll now invest in your second best option?0 -
Nationwide site reports all is now running normally. Hopefully our faster payments will quickly catch up.0

I hope Nationwide's customer service soon catches up, too.
When my payment was 'bounced' back to my main account on Fri, I rang them to ask why. They said they were having problems with payments and didn't know when it would be sorted.
Later in the day, I sent a secure message to ask whether I would lose interest if they didn't get it corrected for a while. They replied that it was nothing to do with them, that my main bank had recalled it and they didn't know why.
For confirmation, I rang my main bank this morning. They confirmed that Nationwide had returned it, as they were unable to handle Faster Payments.0 -

Complain (secure message) that you were given incorrect information?0 -
