New kitchen, ballpark?

We've just moved into a house and the kitchen is in worse state than we expected. We're looking at having it replaced. Its pretty small, included is a photo of how it is now. We'd like it replaced in a similar configuration, with an integrated oven and hopefully dishwasher. My guess is 5k+, probably more like 6-7.

You're pretty close with those guesses. 5k if you're careful. Get an experienced local joiner.0

To be honest, how long is a piece of string. It depends on materials for cabinets and worktops and how much you can do yourselves.
If the plumbing and electrics are in the same places it will cut the cost.
Custom cabinets from a local cabinet maker are cheaper than you think and can be hand painted to give a luxurious expensive look. Most of the kitchen makers kitchens are made the same and the likes of neptune are made in china just like ikea.0 -
Why not use the Ikea 3D planning tool? Its fantastic! I had great fun with it. But the best thing is that it works out the total cost of the cabinetry, handles, worktops etc for you so you can stick to a budget.

I had a new kitchen last year from Ikea and the build quality is excellent (we had Ikea installers). Our kitchen is a fair amount bigger than yours - 26 cupboards and it came to £4,300 for the cabinets and £2,300 for the installation.0 -
That's very helpful thankyou!0

Don't forget to add flooring, tiling and decorating0

I supply and fit kitchens all day long. A mid range kitchen with integrated hob, oven etc would probably be around £10k on a turn key solution ie one company doing everything including carpentry, plumbing electrics, tiling, decorating etc.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

We had a kitchen done by B&Q about that size for 7k (units/cooker inc)0

Hi I just wanted to let everyone out there to avoid WRENS at all cost. They are only interested in getting the sales, once they have your money they are not interested. They do not sort out THEIR mistakes, they BLAME others and refuse listern. I would not recommend them to anyone.0

Don't forget the cost of appliances, which can easily reach £3,500 without you realising it.
Also, MSE suggests you look at diy-kitchens.co.uk. Units come fully assembled, and prices are much more competitive than the high street.0
