Not necessarily, if the OP is in the first year of an official apprenticeship scheme - the minimum is then £3.50.Yep, and your employer is breaking the law....

May I ask where you get the figure of £14942.46 for your "salary" from? Is it from your contract?
I ask because I don't think I've ever seen a "salary" that isn't rounded to the nearest pound.
But if you've taken it from some other source (eg a P60 or you've calculated it yourself) could it cover a period when you were getting paid a lower rate?
In any case you should be able to calculate your hourly rate quite easily(?) from a payslip.0 -
My typical working week is 830am-630pm Tuesday to Friday and every saturday 830-1pm. The salary I put on was from my contract. The training is not an apprenticeship scheme.
I heard back from HR this morning and it turns out that when my hours increased back in September my hours were not adjusted on the payrol so they have been underpaying me by 3.2 hours a week since. The company are going to backdate this for me and pay me correctly.
