Double Storey Side Extension Electricals advice?

Picking the right consumer unit, in terms of manufacturer, number of ways, maximum loading, physical size, wiring regs edition compliance etc, is very different to motor oil. Again, I'm not trying to belittle you, I'm all for research and education but Google isn't the right place for a novice to make all of the above decisions.
Get your electrician to propose a couple of models, and then perhaps research these and make the final choice yourself if you really want to. Some manufacturers make it really difficult when it comes to final wiring into the consumer unit due to restricted sizes, but that knowledge is probably only from experience and not Google.0 -
