Parking EYE

Hi,
New here and don't understand half of what's been said on some threads in the forum. My car was driven, not by me, into an adds car park and left for 6hrs 13mins. I've come home to 2 letters stating I have a parking charge of £70 or £40 if paid within 14 days. Today is the 14th day according to the letters. What should I do as have no receipt for parking their and it wasn't me driving the vehicle. NEES ADVICE ASAP. Thanks.

The Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum explains all about PPCs and walks you through the process for challenging PE - get stuck into that.

Without being cruel, if you can't understand the Newbies thread or half of what has been said, I would pay the lower sum in your case.
You OP reads as if you want the regulars here to do the work for you and we need to ration help to people who, although perhaps not clued up, at least look as if they are prepared to put in some effort themselves.0 -
1. Name the driver to Private Eye and relinquish all responsibility. (Bad move though).
2. Pay the ticket and put it all behind you.
3. Read the Newbies thread again, then send the BPA appeal letter to PE. They will issue you with a Popla code to allow you a further(independent) appeal. (Good move, although you lose the 'right' to the offered discount).
Also have a search on here for the location of the infringement and see if there are any recent winning appeal points that have already been posted.
Ps, why have you received two letters - what do they say ?0 -
Why not, what's hard about copying an appeal already written for you? What is difficult about reading the advice? If using a phone to try to read the forum - don't!Hi,
