Why would you want to go with a no win no fee company?
Just go with your local solicitor who'll take a fixed fee, rather than a hefty percentage.
A genuine whiplash case is a guaranteed win.0 -
Because a solicitor will want a big dollop of money up front, and I'm starting my own business so cant be shelling out for it upfront at the moment so a no win no fee seems like a viable option0

If you have the additional legal expenses cover on your policy a solicitor can be appointed through the legal cover and then their will be no deduction from damages.
If no legal cover a no win no fee solicitor can deduct up to 25% of damages. Solicitors can set any rate up to 25% but most apply the full amount.
All of the main solicitors are about as bad as each other so just pick one and go with it. Alternatively contact the other drivers insurer and ask if they operate a direct claimant scheme which cuts the solicitor out of the process.0 -

They shouldnt? Mine didnt. They normally just bill the people your claiming off at the end.
My son had an accident and the other party denied responsibility. His insurance company said they would settle @ 50/50 so we went to a local solicitor to sort it out. They were all over it like a rash - even though there was no whiplash claim - had it sorted out in a few months and never asked either for money up front or money after it was settled - they just claimed their free off the other peoples insurance.0 -
I had an accident in nov 2016 , a driver turned in front of me
I was paid out within 3 weeks for my car
had a medical and started physio at the begging of jan 2017,
stephensons contacted me and I just went with them for a claim. didn't take long over all, an offer from my end was put forward but rejected and his insurer made a counter offer which was still good so took it, I was paid out around 2 weeks ago. what ever you claim is minus 25% fee but the medical expense was on top of my claim.0 -
Check your home insurance - they may provide legal cover/assistance which doesn't have to be issues related to your house. Or are you or your wife are in a trade union - usually get free legal advice via them. See if there is a local solicitor - many offer a free 30 minute advice session where they'll tell you if they can pursue it for you and what any charges would be. All of the above are better than a NWNF company.0
