Hello, Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or help PLEASE? Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I have serve Mental health problem ( psychosis,BPD, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, Prolonged PND and BED) I have been admitted into hospital 9 times in just under 5 years ( ranging from a week until 4 months) and ME.
My husband cant cope with my MH problems anymore
and has left me. He is going to be the main carer for our 5 year old, as due to my MH problem Social serves are involved. He will now get Child tax credits and child benefit. Once i am out of hospital ( 4 weeks this coming mon-need to let DLA know) and out of supportive housing ( this is what they are thinking about sending me to as a next step-for 1-6 months depending on how i get on).
I get DLA ( lower mobility and higher care) which will come to an end in sep, and I assume i will have to fill in a form for PIP.
I also claim ESA and get the contribution based ( I believe as i worked for 13 years before getting poorly) in the support group. Is it now because me and my husband are split up looking at getting ESA income based? In the contribution based group I was doing vol work for an hour a week. I would like to do this and this lead to supply work at a nursery ( I have a childcare qualification) can i still do this on the income based group. Will i need to do a whole new form? The benefits calculator said income based is more is this right?
I am looking ( with my parents help ) at buying hubby out his half of the house. AND i will pay my parents back. As no one will give me a mortgage on benefits. I doubt it nationwide wouldn't ( who we are with now) I will obviously have all the bill to pay. Council tax, parent money back, water, gas, electricity, tv licence, cat insurance, house insurance, food, internet, phone ( mob only- going to £10 a month tesco monthly in oct when my 24 hour contract has ran out). Any ideas on how to save pennies? Just wonder how I am going to survive on £800 a month is it doable?
I think i may get some council tax benefit? Anyone know if its true?
I have tried 2 benefits calculator( BUT got 2 different answer) I have about £2000 in savings which was from my cars as the DVLA has said I am not allowed to drive and haven't been for 4 years so doubt i will be able to any time soon.
I am TRYING to take control of my MH ( have been on all anti psychotic meds over the last 5 years BUT none have helped at all) and other meds.
THANK you for any advice or help? xxxx

Your DLA will continue until you are assessed for PIP which could be before or after September. The ESA will continue as contribution based but you if you would be entitled to get income based then you may be entitled to extra payment if you will be living alone with no-one claiming carers allowance.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

The above could also mean you would get Severe disability premium (sdp) added to IR sea, an extra £65 per week, providing you live alone and no one gets carers allowance for you.
Good luck0
