Tesco Bank current account application?

I'm an existing Tesco Bank customer with a couple of internet saver accounts.
When I try to apply for a current account when I'm logged in, I get a message at the bottom just after my name and address saying 'some information is missing - you'll need to get in touch'.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I wonder what it could be?

It sounds as if some information is missing and you'll need to get in touch.
This forum isn't Tesco's support service, so we can't tell you, I'm afraid.

haha .. funny.
wonder what it could be though. Don't fancy getting stuck in a queue trying to get through.
Happened before they suspended applications too0 -
It didn't happen to me when I opened my second account, so I suspect you'll have no choice other than to call them to find out what the problem is of you can't work it out for yourself from what they say on the screen.0

Possibly they need to ask if you require credit, as that question won't have been asked for a savings account.0

A very faint 'I confirm I have read ...' checkbox?0

This happened to my husband when he tried to open a second account. This page is automatically completed on the application.
When he phoned customer service they could not see anything missing and opened the account successfully over the phone.
That was the last day they accepted applications before the suspension so he was lucky.0 -
Very true. Most application sites won't proceed if appropriate boxes aren't checked.0
