i got a car fine .there were no white lines on the road. later we noticed on a post a bit further up from where we were it said residents after we got a ticket. it is very unclear and unless someone is from the area or within a borough that runs the same way they would know. I am a very cautious person so i was very shocked when i got this and upset of course. the borough we often park in has issues if we park within the white lines if there is there are no road markings ont the road you can park. i am very upset as we went out that day as both of us were feeling unwell through stress of life and were trying to go for a walk to feel better ( i suffer with the stress on my heart and him on his body) and we came back to a fine. i went straight to the council and they said if you want write something so i did. then they said no. then i appeal using an online template with bad markings within the notice period and again another letter saying no and i should pay within 14 days. in addition we are so skint with no credit card or anyting and i am so angry they shoudl get away with it as very unfair to me or anyone else in this situation. what is next step? markings shoudl be like road codes surely international or at least the same in all boroughs accross the country??? what is going on!!!

Wall of text - did not read. Please add paragraphs and use proper capitalisation to maximise your chances of assistance - this is a busy forum so you need to help people to help you.

Is this a Council parking ticket? If yes then get thee to Pepipoo - we specialise here on private parking charges.

This seems to be a Council fine and you will get better help on pepipoo, but only if you do as DoaM says about layout.

Post on pepipoo for expert advice, but show a scan of the PCN, both sides:

They are great at appealing Council PCNs. You need to show them the PCN (BOTH sides) and the letters you are talking about. It is urgent if you've already gone through 2 stages of appeal. You can't ignore it but should have adjudication offered.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
