Green Man Gaming wont refund pre-order

OK so I pre-ordered a game from GMG, which is not due to be released for another week yet, and I decided to cancel my pre-order today.
On contacting GMG they told me that although they have not yet delivered my main game key, they wont give me a refund because they have already reviled a key for some demo content (which I didn't want anyway).
They then go onto to point out that in signing up for an account with them, I agreed to some terms and conditions which say:-
"Refunds or credits will be issued solely at Green Man Gaming's discretion. Refunds may be offered if all the following conditions are met:
I cant belive for one moment these T&C's are actually legally binding for UK consumers?
thankyou for any sensible help.

I assume you mean revealed a code to you rather than reviled a code, (in which case my post will be nonsense.)
It does seem a bit of a slam dunk looking at their terms and conditions, part of the game, a code, has already been sent whether you wanted it not.
The only possible get out would be if this was a remote sale, IE ordered from the Internet and there was some way of proving the code was not used or copied in any way. I suspect though proving a code hasn't been copied for later use would be almost impossible.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
