at the moment i pay £37.50 a month to bt, where my average bill is £110 but with only a total of £6 in calls most quarter and reduced to 1471 and caller display
i also pay £48.50 for basic multiroom sky and have broadband with them
i was approached on the phone yesterday by a company acting for talk talk. they said the could better my deal and save me money, when they had finished their pitch i made my excuses and asked for them to call me back while i found out if it was all hot air, but this was what they were offering
sky- a like for like tv package minus sky atlantic but with monthly bonus deals available
broadband - unlimited fibre broadband, new router, one-off installation charge of £34
phone - all calls to landlines and uk mobiles free 24/7 with the 60 minute dial back and with all the extras i could no longer afford such as last number bar and 1571 etc all included free
then as extra a fee sim giving me 200 free minutes to uk mobiles, unlimited texts and 500 mb of data all refreshed monthly
and all this for £44.50 a month but on promotion to me at £39.50 a month for the first 24 months on contract with a price match promise of me finding anything better they would immediately switch me. well obviously its more than half what i am paying now and from what i can see all i would be scrficing would be sky Atlantic
but is it too good to be true????

It seems odd that a company 'representing' TalkTalk would call and I'm not sure that they contact people who have never been customers or have not left just recently, so would be suspicious.
There are multiple calls and emails about, claiming to be from reputable companies, buy are actually part of a scam to get your bank details.0 -
I would never trust a company that cold called me. If their offers were THAT good, surely they wouldn't need to call random people as customers would be banging down their door to sign up with them.
Your post is a bit confusing. You pay £37.50 to BT but your average bill is £110? What does that consist of and is it only line rental you have with them?
You pay Sky £48.50 a month for the basic package and BB? Is that ADSL or fibre?
For a start you are paying way too much for Sky (and probably BT as well depending on what services you have with them). Take a look at the haggling thread on here. 50% off Sky should be your minimum expectation. Then work on the BB if you want to keep it with Sky.0
